　　是由保羅西蒙（Paul Simon）和阿特加芬克爾（Art Garfunkel）創(chuàng)作并最早演唱的，主唱是保羅西蒙，合音是加豐科。

　　這首歌的來(lái)歷： Scarborough Fair原是一首古老的蘇格蘭民間謎歌（riddle song），所謂“riddle song”是指那些民間流傳廣泛，但是不知道作者是誰(shuí)的歌曲，而且由于人們的相互傳唱，本來(lái)的曲調(diào)已經(jīng)改變了很多。后來(lái)英國(guó)民歌手馬汀·卡西（Martin Carthy）在原歌的基礎(chǔ)上加進(jìn)了自己的再創(chuàng)造（尤其是里面那優(yōu)美的吉它伴奏），把它變成了一首非常優(yōu)美的愛(ài)情歌曲。保羅曾于64－65年期間在英國(guó)度假，并經(jīng)常出沒(méi)于英國(guó)民謠圈演唱，學(xué)會(huì)這首歌后，重新譜寫了詞曲。

　　Scarborough Fair這首歌第一次為我們所知應(yīng)該是作為美國(guó)電影《畢業(yè)生》（The Graduate）的插曲出現(xiàn)的。這部電影是當(dāng)時(shí)美國(guó)大學(xué)生很喜歡的電影，這首歌曲和那首The Sound of Silence（寂靜之聲）也都是頗受歡迎的。其實(shí)，西蒙和加芬克爾的唱片專輯“Parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme”是在1966年底問(wèn)世的。電影《畢業(yè)生》是1967年上映的，吸納了其中兩首作為插曲。
