　　You：In the past fifty years, China’s pharmaceutical industry has grown fromnothing into a booming industry. When the PRC

　　was established in 1949, China’s basic pharmaceutical industries were veryweak. 在過去的50年里，中國的醫(yī)藥業(yè)實(shí)現(xiàn)了從低潮到繁

　　You：I mean that many multi national companies depend on China for rawmaterials, and China has cornered about 30% of the

　　David：It seems like in the past 50 years China’s pharmaceutical market hasopened to the world. 好像中國的醫(yī)藥市場在過去的50

　　You：Not exactly. In the first thirty years, China’s economy was not open toWestern countries. But since the 1980’s, in the
