I always likedthe autumn because I thought autumn was a romantic season. Before I disliked the various colors ofthe flowers,and I thought they are flighty and superficial. I thought only onlythe blue ocean is deep, the golden autumn is elegant. However, now I have adifferent idea that I find spring wonderful. I like the blossom in the field andin the moutain. From them I am spirited with life.

In my dream, white bird can fly high, flowers can sing songs, frogs have a jump race, tomatoes are blue, potatoes are yellow, all the things are different.

My favourite season is spring. Everything is very lively in the spring. Theflowers are blooming, the trees are growing and the grass is turning green. Ilike lying on the grass and enjoy the sun shine in the park in the spring. Wealso can fly a kite, have a picnic, go on a trip or climb the mountain, but Idon‘t like to do those things, because they will make me feel tired. Some peoplelike to go to the countryside, however I don‘t think it is a good place to gofor a rest. I don‘t like the other season, because they are not very warm:summer is too hot, winter is too cold. While autumn is cool, it isn‘t verybeautiful. Last year, I went to the Slender West Lake in Yang Zhou. First wetook a boat to travel down the lake, we saw the Qiong flowers on the bank, andthey were very beautiful. Then we visited the Five Kiosks Bridge, there werefive kiosks on the bridge, and every kiosk has a long history. We sit in thekiosk and took some photos. Last we went to the Fishing Platform.Why do peoplecall it ?Fishing Platform‘? Because the emperor called ?Qian Long‘ in QingDynasty visited it. We also fished in it. We had a good time in Yang Zhou.Anyway, my favourite season is spring

We all love her very much. My mother has too much to do in bring us up. Asour family is not rich enough, my mother always hits to do a lot of work. Shegets up very early and sleeps very late every day. She works very hard, yetwithout complaining. My mother is also a thrifty and industrious woman.
She saves every penny that she can to keep everything in order. As she hasbeen busy ever since she was young, she looks older than she really is. Her faceis wrinkled, her hair becomes silver white, some of her teeth become movable.But she works as hard as ever.
My mother often says to us," work while you work, play while you play. Ifyou did not work, you will become lazy and of no use to the society." What agood piece of advice it is! We must worth it well and always keep it in ourminds.

it is a great honor and pleasure to be here on this beautiful saturdaymorning to share with you my sentiments about life and passion for the englishlanguage.
about a year and a half ago, i took part in my very first english speechcontest. when i stood before the microphone with all eyes starring directly atme, i could hardly speak. i stood there, embarrassed and helpless, struggling invain for the right thing to say. my fears had paralyzed me.
while my passion for english has never changed, i lost my courage to speakin public. when my professor again encouraged me to take part in thiscompetition, i said “no.” i couldn’t endure yet another painful experience. helooked me straight in the eye and said something that pierced my heart. i willnever forget his words. “l(fā)ook,” he said, “we all have our fears, and you haveyours. you could twist your ankle in a basketball game, but then be afraid toever play again. running away can never dispel your fears, but action will. awinner is not one who never fails，but one who never quits.”
i spent a whole day with his words twisting and turning in my mind. then imade the bravest and wisest decision of my life: i would face my fears –and takepart in the competition!
as it turned out, my dear old professor was right. now, here i am, onceagain standing before a microphone. my heart is beating fast, and my mouth isdry, but most importantly, i have faced my fears -- and that makes all thedifference!

Good afternoon, everybody. I just want to say a few words about the landmark vote that the House of Representatives is poised to(隨時(shí)準(zhǔn)備著) take today -- a vote that can bring us one step closer to making real the promise of quality, affordable(支付得起) health care for the American people.
For the better part of a year now, members of the House and the Senate have been working diligently(勤奮地) and constructively to craft legislation that will benefit millions of American families and millions of American businesses who urgently need it. For the first time ever, they've passed bills through every single committee responsible for reform. They've brought us closer than we have ever been to passing health insurance reform on behalf of the American people.
Now is the time to finish the job. The bill that the House has produced will provide stability and security for Americans who have insurance; quality, affordable options for those who don't; and lower costs for American families and American businesses. And as I've insisted from the beginning, it is a bill that is fully paid for and will actually reduce our long-term federal deficit(赤字，不足).
This bill is change that the American people urgently need. Don't just take my word for it. Consider the national groups who've come out in support of this bill on behalf of their members: The Consumers Union supports it because it will create -- and I quote -- "a more secure, affordable health care system for the American people."
The American Medical Association and the American Nurses Association support it on behalf of doctors and nurses and medical professionals who know firsthand what's broken in our current system, and who see what happens when their patients can't get the care they need because of insurance industry bureaucracies(官僚政治).
The National Farmers Union supports this bill because it will control costs for farmers and ranchers(牧場(chǎng)主), and address the unique challenges rural Americans face when it comes to receiving quality care.
And the AARP supports it because it will achieve the goal for which the AARP has been fighting for decades -- reducing the cost of health care, expanding coverage for America's seniors, and strengthening Medicare for the long haul.
Now, no bill can ever contain everything that everybody wants, or please every constituency(選區(qū)) and every district. That's an impossible task. But what is possible, what's in our grasp right now is the chance to prevent a future where every day 14,000 Americans continue to lose their health insurance, and every year 18,000 Americans die because they don't have it; a future where crushing costs keep small businesses from succeeding and big businesses from competing in the global economy; a future where countless dreams are deferred or scaled back because of a broken system we could have fixed when we had the chance.
What we can do right now is choose a better future and pass a bill that brings us to the very cusp(尖頭，尖端) of building what so many generations of Americans have sought to build -- a better health care system for this country.
Millions of Americans are watching right now. Their families and their businesses are counting on us. After all, this is why they sent us here, to finally confront the challenges that Washington had been putting off for decades -- to make their lives better, to leave this country stronger than we found it.
I just came from the Hill where I talked to the members of Congress there, and I reminded them that opportunities like this come around maybe once in a generation. Most public servants pass through their entire careers without a chance to make as important a difference in the lives of their constituents and the life of this country. This is their moment, this is our moment, to live up to the trust that the American people have placed in us -- even when it's hard; especially when it's hard. This is our moment to deliver.
I urge members of Congress to rise to this moment. Answer the call of history, and vote yes for health insurance reform for America.
